Max Verstappen is of the opinion that it is in everyone’s best interest to “draw a line” under Red Bull’s recent decision to cut ties with Formula One broadcaster Sky Sports.
The World Champions decided to avoid speaking to any broadcaster linked with Sky throughout the weekend of the Mexican Grand Prix in response to comments made by reporter Ted Kravitz regarding the manner in which Verstappen has earned his two titles.
As a direct consequence of this, neither a Red Bull driver nor any personnel from the team appeared on Sky’s weekend coverage during the customary post-session interviews; nevertheless, a pre-recorded section with Sergio Perez was broadcast.
The Dutchman Verstappen is eager to move on from the situation, and Red Bull has emphasized that the snub is only for the Mexico weekend.
Ahead of the Brazilian Grand Prix, he revealed to the media, including theplaceforgames.com, that “We drew a line across it, and so we simply keep on going,” and that he was “looking forward.”
